DEPICTR Developer Portal

Equip AI agents, scripts, and third-party platforms to inspect templates, trigger deployments, and interact with DEPICTR services.

Quickstart: Querying Site Availability

You can programmatically verify whether a given subdomain is eligible for registration or inspect showcase sites:

curl -X GET "https://depictr.app/api/check-subdomain?subdomain=cupidspizzeria" \
  -H "Accept: application/json"

Authentication, Free Tier & Sandbox Environment

DEPICTR supports frictionless agent onboarding with zero sales gates:

Zero-Auth Access

Public endpoints (subdomain checks, showcase records, discovery manifests) require no API keys or tokens.

Free Trial & Sandbox

Instant interactive website builder sandbox at /builder with live preview and no credit card required.

Self-Serve Keys

Generate developer API tokens directly inside the client dashboard at /dashboard in seconds.

Rate Limit Headers: All API responses deliver standard RFC 6585 and draft rate limit indicators:

  • RateLimit-Limit: 120
  • RateLimit-Remaining: 119
  • RateLimit-Reset: 60
  • Retry-After: (delivered on HTTP 429)

Model Context Protocol (MCP) Setup

To connect Claude Desktop, Cursor, or autonomous agent frameworks to the DEPICTR MCP server, insert the following into your MCP client configuration:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "depictr": {
      "url": "https://mcp.depictr.app",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_DEPICTR_API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

Discovery metadata is published at /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json per SEP-1649.

CLI & Automated Scripting

For command-line automation, run operations using our standard API curl wrappers or invoke our npx package runner once published:

npx depictr-cli --help
